EO DC: EOS with Bill Hueter

January 9 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Description: Workshop: EOS: People, Process, and Meetings – How to Get Them Right!

Bill Hueter will guide us through an understanding of these three critical business components and how your company can get stronger in each one.

People: Simply put, you can’t have a great company without great people. You can’t achieve a great vision without a great team. Getting your people right begins with defining the right people for you. To do that, you must identify your core values as a company, then ruthlessly hire and keep only those people who share them. Then identify who in your company is responsible for every seat and ask three simple questions about every person. First, do they “get it”? You know when someone doesn’t get it. When somebody doesn’t get it, you know. Second, do they “want it.” Lots of employees toil in jobs that aren’t truly what they want to do. Finally, ask whether the person has the intellectual, emotional, and physical capacity to do the job.

Process: This is a secret ingredient in your organization. It means “systemizing” your business by identifying and documenting the core processes that define how to run it. You’ll need to get everyone on the same page about the essential procedural steps and then get everyone to follow them to create consistency and scalability in your organization. Simplifying and documenting your core processes is the key.

Meetings: One simple EOS® Tool which ensures that your leadership team communicated well and stayed connected, is the routine of the Meeting Pulse which is held weekly, quarterly, and annually. The Meeting Pulse™ ensures that the circles are connected. That the left-hand knows what the right-hand is doing. It enables the team to know what is on track and what is not. It enables you to identify and solve issues and prevent train wrecks. One of the simplest and most effective tools is the weekly Level 10 Meeting™. The Level 10 Meeting is deliberately designed to be as simple as possible for the team and the integrator. It is run on the same day and at the same time every week. It starts and finishes on time. It runs for just 90 minutes and has the same agenda every week.
